SOFT YOGA
:
Never been to yoga? New to fitness? Suffer from arthritis or
any sports-related injury? Come and learn the basics of
yoga! For all levels of fitness and flexibility, beginners
and first time students welcome! A nurturing class focusing
on adapting yoga postures to individual needs, making yoga
accessible to everyone regardless of age or physical
condition. Perfect for seniors, beginning students and those
seeking a less vigorous practice. Each class is structured
to include a total body yoga workout, an emphasis on
complete breathing, a guided meditation and a relaxing cool
down.
VINYASA YOGA
(Power Yoga): Yoga 2 classes are
taught in a non-competitive environment, with teachers
offering variations for all levels of students, allowing
students to work at their own pace. Multi-level and open to
all students, but not recommended for first-time students.
Some basic knowledge of yoga poses and alignment strongly
recommended. Introduction to inversions, more challenging
back bends and arm balances. Every NJ Yoga Zone class is
structured to include a physical yoga workout, an emphasis
on complete breathing and a relaxing cool down. The
specifics of each class are tailored to address the
individual needs and experience of the students.
VINYASA YOGA
+
(Power Yoga): A challenge! Explore
and push yourself to the your edge. A vigorous, athletic
class emphasizing cardiovascular fitness and core strength.
Prepare to sweat. Excellent for gym buffs who want to
compliment their workouts or for anyone ready to take their
yoga practice to the next level. Not recommended for first
time students to yoga. Basic knowledge of yoga poses and
alignment strongly recommended.
MAT
PILATES: A method of exercise and
physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and
balance the body. With systematic practice of specific
exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, Pilates
has proven itself invaluable not only as a fitness endeavor
itself, but also as an important adjunct to professional
sports training and physical rehabilitation of all kinds.
REFORMER
PILATES: A method of exercise and
physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and
balance the body while balancing yourself on the Reformer
machine. Designed to take your workout to the next level,
pilates on the Reformer challenges the mind and body!
BOARDWALKERS: Get in shape
outdoors on the boardwalk! Bring your strollers (or just
yourself), enjoy a strong cardio power walk as well as
toning exercises using resistance bands. Make new friends as
you exercise and enjoy the beach!
BIKRAM YOGA:
An experience! Bikram yoga is a series of 24 hatha yoga
postures and 2 breathing exercises. These 26 postures
treat every muscle, nerve and cell in the body and are
always performed in the same order each class. The room is heated to 85-95 degrees to insure
a total body cleansing. No prior yoga experience necessary.

MARTIAL
ARTS YOGA (Budokon Style): 1/2
Yoga, 1/2 Martial Arts, this class will stretch and tone all
muscles! Meditative, yet cardiovascular, this is a challenge
to all!
YOGA-LATES: 1/2 yoga 1/2 pilates!
Get the flexibility and meditative benefits of yoga plus the
toning of pilates!
